Pride of Graves County Homepage

The Graves County Band Boosters are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose membership is comprised of parents and legal guardians of students enrolled in the Graves County band programs from grades 5^th to 12^th and any individual having an interest in the band programs. All band parents from all levels (elementary, middle, and high school) are Boosters.

The Graves County Band Boosters strive to promote interest, goodwill, and financial support for all the band programs and are the cheering section for all the bands and guard.

Being an active member of the boosters allows you to work with and get to know the staff and many of the other band parents and band members. It also means being a part of something that allows you to share in your child’s pride and accomplishments. The personal rewards are many!

Everyone can help make a difference in the Graves County Schools band programs. Some parents are fortunate enough to be able to give many hours where others are limited to assisting occasionally. Regardless of the time you are able or willing to share, your involvement will be positive, productive, fun, and will benefit an outstanding group of young men and women.

It is often said that the parents of band members are the hardest working parents in the school system, from getting the kids to practice to late night trips to the school to pick them up, working concessions, and all the many other tasks that are just too numerous to list. The Band Boosters program is devoted to all the students in all the band programs and it simply could not be done without the support of the Parents/Boosters!

Please consider contributing your time whenever and wherever you can. You will become a part of what makes being in “The Pride of Graves County” band programs the best possible experience for our students.

The Graves County Band Boosters Board meets quarterly on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the GCHS Band
room. All parents and interested friends are urged to attend. Information for upcoming meetings will be posted on the calendar on
this website. Correspondence may be mailed to GC Band Boosters, 1107 Housman Street, Mayfield, Ky 42066, or may be placed
in the mailbox in the GCHS Band room. All checks should be made payable to Graves County Band Boosters.
